Aloe vogtsii Reynolds (1936)

DESCRIPTION: with short stem, simple or suckering. Leaves 16-20, 20-25x5-6 cm, pale green, obscurely lineate, with numerous H-shape spots. Teeth firm, 3 mm long and 10-15 mm apart. Inflorescence erect, to 65 cm, with 6-7 branches. Racemes subcapitate, 20x8 cm, flowers bright red.
DISTRIBUTION: RSA (Limpopo prov.)
CULTIVATION: Not common, but easy to grow.
