Aloe verecunda Pole-Evans (1917)

DESCRIPTION: solitary or suckering to form small clumps, stem up 20 cm covered with old leaf. Leaves rosulate or usually distichous, erect, fleshy, 16-40x0,8x1,2 cm, dull green with lower surface densely spotted. Margin teeth 2-7 mm apart, soft. Raceme dense, capitate, perianth scarlet with green tips.
DISTRIBUTION: RSA, widely distributed in Gauteng and Northern Province.
CULTIVATION: Not easy, silar like grass-like aloes.
