Aloe striatula Haw. (1825)

DESCRIPTION: branching with stem to 1,8 m, leaves ca 25x2,5 cm, glossy green, teeth ca 1 mm, 3-8 mm apart. Inflorescence to 40 cm ,raceme cylindrical, flowers orange to reddish orange.
Synonymy: Aloe aurantiaca Baker, Aloe cascadensis Kuntze, Aloe macowanii Baker
DISTRIBUTION: Lesotho, South Africa (Eastern Cape).
CULTIVATION: easy to grow.
