Aloe schweinfurthii Baker (1880)

DESCRIPTION: stemless, suckering, leaves about 16-20, 40-60x6-7 cm, glaucous green to bluish green, often white spotted, red teeth 3-4 mm, 8-15mm apart. Inflorescence erect, 70-100 cm, branched 5-10 branches, raceme cylindrical to 20 cm long, flowers scarlet to orange yellow.
DISTRIBUTION: Sudan, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Nigeria, Mali
CULTIVATION: rare, but easy to grow.
