Aloe rupestris Baker (1896)
DESCRIPTION: simple with erect stem 8 m high. Leaves 30-40 densely rosulate, up 70x7-10 cm, dull to slighly glossy deep green, margins with deep pink to pale red border and pungent, reddish brown teeth 4-6 mm long 8-12 mm apart. Inflorescence 1 m tall with 6-9 branches, racemes cylindrical 20-25x7, perianth lemon yellow or bright orange, 20 mm long.
DISTRIBUTION: South Africa Swaziland, Mozambique.
CULTIVATION: Big plant easy to grow.
