Aloe pulcherrima M.G.Gilbert & Sebsebe (1997)

DESCRIPTION: Prostrate to pendent shrun, caulescent, stem up to 1 m ca 8 cm thick, leaves 40-50x12 cm, bluish green to pale blue green, slightly glaucous. Marginal teeth almost obsolete, 3 per 10 cm, small teeth 0,1-0,2 mm long, hardly visible. Inflorescence at first descending, then ascending so it becomes U-sharped, branched 3-6 erect racemes, main stem 50-80 cm, racemes 12-30 cm, flowers red. Main flowering period is from July to September
DISTRIBUTION: Ethiopia (Shewa region), rocks.
CULTIVATION: Not common in cultivation, but easy growing in hanging pots.
