Aloe monticola Reynolds (1957)

DESCRIPTION: large plant, ususally solitary, stemless. Leaves ca 20-24, spreading, up to 70x14-17 cm, olive-green, rather glossy. Young plants are with few, irregular white spots. Margins with a very prominent brown or reddish-brown teeth, 6 mm long, 10-15 mm apart. Inflorescence 1 m tall with up 8 branches, flowers yellow (very rare red/scarlet)
DISTRIBUTION: Ethiopie, Tigre province
CULTIVATION: very easy, similar to Aloe harlana
