DESCRIPTION: stemless, suckering, leaves in compact rosette, 50-70x5-10 cm, glossy dark green, inflorescence 75-150 cm with 2-8 erect branches, racemes cylindrical, flowers bright red.

DISTRIBUTION: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda
