DESCRIPTION: Dwarf to medium-sized aloe found solitary or very rarely in small groups. Stem acaulous or with very short stem 35-45 mm thick, up to 15 cm long in old plants, leaves arranged in a compact rosette, about 25-30, erect-spreading, slightly incurved, ovate-lanceolate, up to 20-28x6-8 cm, surface dark green, tinged red. Inflorescence erect, 30-45 cm tall, simple or rare with one branch.
DISTRIBUTION: Tanzania (E Iringa).
CULTIVATION: easy to grow.
