Aloe greatheadii Schönland (1904)

DESCRIPTION: Very variable taxon. Stemless or with short stem. Leaves ca 12, 20-40x6-12 cm, dark green with many spots. Inflorescence 100-175 cm, 3-10 branches, racemes conical, flowers pale pink.
Aloe greatheadii var. davyana D.S.Hardy (1987) Inflorescence to 100 cm, to 5 branches, leaves to 30x6-8 cm.
DISTRIBUTION: Botswana, Congo, Malawi, Mozambique, RSA, Swaziland, Zimbabwe
CULTIVATION: Easy to grow, common plant.
