Aloe gilbertii Sebsebe et Brandham (1992)

DESCRIPTION: Ususally caulescent, branching from base to form dense clumps, stem ca 1-1,5 m high. Leaves 40-60x9-11 cm, dark green, margins with brown tipped teeth 3-5 mm longm 10-14 mm apart. Inflorescence up to 1,2 m with 12-15 branches, the lower ones re-branched. Racemes cylindrical, 6-15 cm long, laxly flowered. Flowers orange to red.
DISTRIBUTION: Ethiopia, in area Jinka-Turmi-Arba Minch.
CULTIVATION: Not common. Very easy to grow
