Aloe ghibensis Sebsebe & Friis (2011)

DESCRIPTION: Caulescent with stem to 1 m long, rosette leaves rosulate, 40-50x7-10 cm, epidermis dull green, teeth 3 mm long, 7-10 mm apart Inflorescence 45-55 cm long, to 8 branched, raceme cylindrical. Perianth scarlet, 28-30 mm long.
DISTRIBUTION: Ghibe gorge, Ethiopia
CULTIVATION: New taxon, very similar to Aloe schelpei. Very easy to grow.
