Aloe eximia Lavranos et T.A.McCoy (2006)

DESCRIPTION: plant solitary with straight erect stem 4-5 m tall. Leaves 20-25, narrowly, lanceolate, apex acute, spreading and recurved, 45x6 cm, bright green with reddish tinge. Teeth 2 mm long.5-12 mm apart. Inflorescence simple, 18-20 cm tall, raceme slightly cylindrical, 7-10x8-9 cm, densely flowered. Pedicels green, red in bud, perianth orange or brick red in bud, opening to yellow.
DISTRIBUTION: Madagascar (80 km west of Antsirabe.)
CULTIVATION: Not common, but easy growing.
