Aloe decaryi Guillaumin (1941)

DESCRIPTION: Branching at base, stems 1-1,5 m tall. form small groups. Leaves 10-14 erect or slightly spreading, 15-20x0,8x1,2 cm, uniformly dull green, without spots, prominently striate at base. Inflorescence 20 cm tall, raceme shortly cylindrical, perianth rose-red.
DISTRIBUTION: Madagascar (Toliara province, Ambovombe-Amboasary)
CULTIVATION: Similar is A. antandroi, but A. antandroi has some spots on upper leaf surface and lot of spots on lower surface, also stem is +- spotted. Easy cultivated in sandy, porous and mineral soil.
