Aloe cryptopoda Baker (1884)

DESCRIPTION: stemless, small groups, leaves 60-90x10-13 cm, greysh green, 1-3 mm long teeth 5-8 mm apart. Inf. to 175 cm, 1-4 branches, racemes narowly cylindrical, flowers orange-scarlet to yellowish.
Synonymy: Aloe wickensii, Aloe pienaarii
DISTRIBUTION: Mozambik, Zambie, RSA (N. prov.), Zimbabwe
CULTIVATION: very easy
