Aloe cheranganiensis S. Carter and Brandham (1979)
DESCRIPTION: with stem pranching, 1-2 m high, stem 3-4 cm thick covered with persistent dried leaves. Leaves 30-40x5 cm, greysh green, sometimes spotted, reddish teeth up 3 mm long and 5-15 mm apart. Inf. erect 45-75 cm, simple or with 2 branches. Racemes cylindrical, 6-20x6 cm. Perianth orange red or red, yellow at the mouth, 27-30 mm long and 7 mm across ovarium.
DISTRIBUTION: Kenya, Uganda. Mt Elgon, Chernagani hills, Mt Moroto
CULTIVATION: easy to grow.
