Aloe belavenokensis (Rauh and Gerold) Newton and Rowley (1997)

DESCRIPTION: with subterranean stem, leaves ca 10, erect, 20-30 x 1 cm, green, reddish, margin with white deltoid teeth, 1 mm long. Inflorescence simple 20-40 cm long, raceme cylindrical, flowers bright cinnabar red.
DISTRIBUTION: KMadagascar (Fort Dauphin near Belavenoka)
CULTIVATION: easy to grow as lomatophyllum, prefers NO direct sun
