DESCRIPTION: Plant simple or branched with up to 4 m high erect stem with persistent dry leaves. Leaves 80x12 cm, green. Pungent teeth 3 mm long, 10 mm apart. Inflorescence 100 cm with up to 20 branches. Cylindrical to capitate racemes 10 cm. In non flowered stage similar to A. thraskii or A. alooides.
DISTRIBUTION: RSA (Limpopo, Northern Prov.)
CULTIVATION: In cultivation is very rare for a large robustness.
