Aloe amudatensis Reynolds (1956)

DESCRIPTION: stemless, suckering. Leaves about 12, 20-25x4-5 cm, green yellowish green with dense whitish spots. Brown tipped teeth 2 mm long, 3-8 mm apart. Inflorescence 50-60 cm high, max. 2-3 branched. Flowers coral pink to red. Close related to noth Kenyan Aloe ellenbeckii but distinguished by larger, wider yellowish-green leaves with bigger teeth and unicolour flowers.
DISTRIBUTION: Kenya, Uganda.
CULTIVATION: Easy cultivated in sandy soil.
