DESCRIPTION: simple with to 4 m high erect stem with persistent dry leaves. Leaves ca. 30, spreading to recurved, 65x12 cm, green, upper surface glaucous with few prickles. Margins with pungent teeth 4-5 mm and 15 mm apart. Inflorescence 60-80 cm with 2-4 branches, racemes acuminate, up to 60 cm, densely flowered. Similar is Aloe ferox with narrowed leaves and conical racemes.
DISTRIBUTION: RSA (Western Cape)
CULTIVATION: For a robustness of plants is grown limited. Easy cultivated in sandy soil.
